This is an original rap that was written to encourage students to pursue a career in Optometry. It is a submission in the 2011 ASCO EnVision video competition. Lyrics: So you're done with school and thinking "what now?" cross the stage with your diploma and take a bow but now that it's over, and now that it's done, why you think we gotta go n' stop the fun? well here's a suggestion, here's a clue, something to consider for what you can do: let me whisper in your ear about this sweet career as a doctor of optometry in only 4 years. the path is not easy and it'll test your brain but if you make it in the end there'll be a lot to gain. the fame! the fortune! well, maybe not quite, but you'll have the satisfaction of preserving sight.
